Uniqso - Maki Wig Review!

I'm here for a review for Uniqso and their Maki Wig from Love Live!

Before we begin, you can use my code LALODY for 10% off your entire order when shopping at UNIQSO.

So this wig arrived in two business days, I was VERY surprised. It came in safe packaging and comes with it's own plastic ziplock bag so you will have somewhere to store it when it arrives.

This is me wearing the product:

The wig is a very vibrant reddish pink, just like Maki! I was quite pleased when I put this wig on because I was very happy with the colour and the style. My mother says this is one of her favourite wigs on me :3

You can use my code LALODY for 10% off your order.

Ratings: 9/10

This wig is high quality that is pleasant to touch and easy to wear. It is easily adjustable to fit any head shape and heat proof so it can be styled in whatever style you want. I am quite happy with this wig.

Quality: 9/10

This wig is very easy to style and brush. It is also heat proof and doesn't loose many strands. It is synthetic, though it is very high quality and from a reputable business.

Colouring: 10/10

I am in love, love, loooveee with the colour of this wig. It is such a pretty shade of pink/red that I wish I could dye my own hair this exact colour. It suits Maki perfectly and anyone who wants to wear this wig in real life without having to edit the colouring on their photos will be pleasantly surprised.

Sizing: 9/10

This wig is tight on my own head but IT FITS! Which is a very good thing because most wigs are slightly too small. This is because I have a loooooottt of real hair that needs to be stuffed in there and it can take it. This wig is also adjustable so people with smaller heads and less hair will also be able to wear it with ease.

Pricing: 10/10

At $24.90, this wig is worth every penny you spend. This is an affordable price that promises quality and comfort in your wig. This is a very reasonable price for this wig and that is why it gets a 10/10 for this wig. It is in the perfect price range.

Remember, you can find this wig HERE and don't forget to check out all the other items! UNIQSO is most popular for their circle lenses.

You can also use my code LALODY for 10% off your order.

PinkIcon - Royal Vision Macaron Green

Hey guys!

I'm back with another review for PinkIcon!

Dont forget you can use by code A24680000 for $5 off your order :3

Today I am reviewing the Royal Vision Macaron series in the colour Green!

The lenses took less than two weeks to arrive and came in a packet like this:

As you can see, they weren't the only lenses I got in this order ;) Let's take a closer look at their bottle...

In the bottle they are a very, very vibrant green. It's quite nice to look at, especially since these are my very first green circle lenses. I was not disappointed!

When you put them in your eyes, this is how there appear:

They are very, very pretty an vibrant! I decided to use them in my cosplay of Sakura Haruno (Naruto) and they worked perfectly!

Ratings: 9/10

Pigmentation: 10/10

These were pleasantly bright and they coloured my darker eyes very nicely. They were clearly green and could be seen easily from a distance. The patterns on the lenses also appear to be quite natural.

Size/Comfort: 10/10

These lenses are quite large at a 14.8mm diameter and make a very nice anime eye effect. I thought I looked very cute while wearing the lenses and I could not feel them in my eyes!

Pricing: 8/10

At $24.98 these are not the cheapest lenses I have worn but I think it is very worth it because these lenses are so perfectly vibrant and I do not regret choosing them at all. You can get $5 off your order by using my code A24680000 :) But you can only use it once!

Pinkicon - Sugar Candy Brown

Hey again!

This time I will be reviewing a pair of lenses from PinkIcon! They are a circle lens store with over 500 lenses to choose from and free shipping worldwide.

Today I will be reviewing the Sugar Candy Brown lenses which are available in Pink, Violet, Blue, Green, Grey and Brown.

Before we begin, I would like to mention that you can use my discount code [A24680000] at the checkout for $5USD off your order :)

Okay, so my parcel was shipped with express shipping and arrived within a week after it was placed. I opened the parcel and this was everything that was inside my order:

The case is actually holding all the circle lenses I received and under the cards and manuals are some false eyelashes. These lashes are used in my example photos.

This is the bottle that they come in. Remember: when you open your lenses you must put them in new multipurpose solution for at least 3 hours before you wear them. Preferably even longer.

This is what happens when I put them over my dark green (almost brown) eyes! The lashes are also from PinkIcon and can be found HERE.

Overall: 8/10

Colour/Pigment: 9/10
On my dark eyes they work wonder by making the eye pop and lined. They are certainly one of my brighter brown lenses. I really enjoyed wearing these lenses and they made me feel sooooo cute! They are quite large as well! The black lining never fails to make the eye really pop.

Comfort: 10/10
I could not feel the lenses at all and they were very, very easy to put in and take out with my longer nails.

Practicality: 8/10
While they are clearly not natural at a close distance, they can quite easily be worn over brown eyes (or other colors, depending on which one you choose) and make your eyes pop. You will probably have someone point them out, though!

Pricing: 7/10
These lenses are priced at $25USD which is a pretty average price for a pair of lenses. They are practical so you will wear them often. It is quite worth the money, in my opinion.

Duration:               Yearly
Package:                 6 Blisters
Price:                      USD$25.06
 D.I.A:                    14.50mm
B.C.:                       8.50mm
Water Content:       42.00%

Please don't forget that you can use my code  [A24680000] at the checkout for $5USD off your order :)

Here is a pic of my full face wearing the lenses:

I hope you have enjoyed my review for the Sugar Candy Brown lenses from PinkIcon. If you don't like the brown, you CAN pick another colour! My code applies to all lenses - except toric!

MicCostumes White Wig Review~

Hey guys~ It's been a while!
Today I am here to write a review for a white wig that I was sponsored by MicCostumes.com!
This is the final product:

You can find the wig HERE
Okay, so  the wig arrived about two weeks after it was ordered, and came in a nice rectangular box. I pulled the wig out and this was what it was like before styling:
As you can see, the fringe of the wig was very, very long (it reached my mouth!) so I had to do some styling :3 It was not very difficult at all.
This wig is unfortunately not heat proof, however it makes up for it by being incredibly easy to style. The fibres are soft yet have enough friction and volume to not require much styling products which is perfect for beginner cosplayers and those who don't like using many products on their wigs.
The wig also lacks a skin top, which means that if you part the fibres at the top, you can see the cap. But good luck getting that far because the fibres on top are very, very dense so you would need to lose a lot of fibres before that could happen.
Speaking of losing fibres, in the few times that I have brushed his wig, it has not lost many fibres at all. This is very good because it means that it will retain it's quality for quite a long time.

Ratings: 6/10 (Neutral Good)
Overall, this wig is very good for beginners yet not quite the quality of a perfect quality wig.

Quality: 6/10 (Neutral Good)
It lacks heat proof and a skin top, yet makes up for it in having very dense and easy to style fibres. It is a very good choice for beginner stylists as some of the more complicated wigs can be a bit tougher to have cooperate with you.

Colouring: 7/10 (Good)
I expected it to be pure white, yet it has hints of grey and blue. It is only very, very subtle and under certain lights. You can probably fix this with some toning.

Sizing: 10/10 (Perfect)
This is one of the more comfortable wigs that I own. I have quite a lot of hair so it can be difficult wearing wigs for a long time without getting a headache from it. This wig is quite large so it can fit lots of hair, yet is adjustable so if you don't have much hair, you can make it a lot smaller.

Pricing: 5/5 (Neutral)
It can put a dent in your budget at $35.59. Luckily, though, if you are looking to complete a full cosplay (specifically, Gilbert from Hetalia), you can combine it with a full cosplay outfit to get it a lot cheaper. It is not bad quality, either, so it is worth it.

You can find this wig HERE, Be sure to check out all their other products as well!

Cute Harajuku Review - Karuta Cosplay Wig

Hello there!

I'm back with another review, this time for my sponsor Cute Harajuku! I was sponsored an item of my choice for completing a Christmas opportunity set by them and I chose a Karuta (Inu X Boku) cosplay wig!

It arrived about 2 weeks after it was shipped, which is very good as this was around Christmas time! I was quite surprised to see this package come so early :3

This is how they were stored inside of the packaging. The base wig is in its own bag and both of the pony tail clips were kept in another bag :) They were all stuffed lightly with paper filling to hold their shape and covered in a net to protect them and hold they together during their travels. The cardboard pieces inside the bag helped make sure the bag wasn't squished and potentially break the precious cargo.

When I put on the wig, this is how it looks! It's so cute!

As you can see, it is very easily decorated with bows and clips. I only used two bows and four clips, but you can use as many as you want and it will still look very adorable! Please note that the wig only looks shiny in this picture because my flash is on! It is not as shiny without flash!

Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to cosplay with this wig as Karuta, yet, as I am waiting for my cosplay from SpreePicky to arrive!

For those who are unfamiliar with this style of wig, the wig has three components! The first part of the wig is the base wig, which can be worn by itself if you want. I think this look is very chic on my square face!

Don't be fooled by the small wig stand! The bottom of the wig sweeps below my chin quite sweetly!

The next two component of this wig are the pony tails, which are the fibres hand sown around a clip to attach them onto the wig. This is what it looks like!

If you are looking for a very thick wig with lots of hair, this is probably not the wig for you. I found that the base, especially around the fringe, was pretty thin compared to my wigs from Arda, though Arda's wigs are notorious for being super thick so that is a quite the unfair comparison! I believe that this thinness is caused from the split part for the fringe being closer to the front than my other wigs. I don't believe it is too much of a problem and in fact makes it much easier to style even without products.

Other than the thinness, I have yet to encounter any problems with it! It is very easy to brush and very, very soft. Incredibly soft. Like a pink bunny. I'm not even exaggerating, I've owned four bunnies and this feels like a bunny!

To top it all off, this wig is heat proof up to 180 Degrees Celcius, which is very high standards for synthetic wigs. I am not sure as to the specific fibre used, though it feels as though it could be a soft form of hiperlon but don't take my word for it! I could be wrong!

Also, when I first got this wig, the pony tails were rather curly but I found this to irritating as they were curled in the same direction as each other and decided that I was going to use my hair dryer to quickly loosen some of the curls into nice, thick waves. I also think this texture matches my school styled Karuta cosplay as the curly version was for the maid style Karuta!

Now for the ratings:

Colour: 10/10
I looooovveeeee the colour of this wig. My other pink wig has multiple coloured fibres and tends to appear more red. This wig is all one colour and is a softer shade of pink! I really like it ^.^

Thickness: 7/10
It can't compare to the thickness of an Arda wig, but it isn't thin anywhere other than the fringe so it deserves at least a 7! And really, the fringe isn't that thin, I am just used to very thick wigs xD

Affordability: 8/10
I think this wig is definitely worth it if you have the money. This wig can achieve many styles depending on which components you want to use and where you want to place them! Though at $25USD, this wig may be above some of your budgets if you are only a casual or beginner wig wearer which is why I am only giving it an 8!

Fibre Quality: 8/10
This wig is soft, heat proof and appears amazing. That's all you could ask for, right? Well, the only problem is is that a wig this soft has some trouble being teased and puffed, so someone with little experience adding volume to hair may struggle to make this wig (especially the base) to do exactly as you want it to. But hey, its soft, cute and heat proof which is pretty damn awesome. Also, it's incredibly easy to brush and doesn't tangle very much!

Overall: 8/10
Though this wig is quickly becoming a new favourite of mine, I am rating it as a rough average of the other scores. I really, really like this wig and intend to wear it quite often. I love how soft it is and how feminine I look. I especially love that I look cutesy and childish when I have the clips on and then if I remove them, suddenly I am appearing mature and very chic.

I am quite proud to be a sponsor of Cute Harajuku, and very happy to have had this opportunity to work with this store. I am sure this will not be the last time you hear about Cute Harajuku.

Again, here is the link to THE WIG which is $25USD. If you use my code, you can get 10% off your entire order from this store!

I hope you enjoyed reading this review and I hope that it helped you decide whether or not you want to purchase this wig!

ByeBye for now!

LemonyLemon Review

Hi guys!

It's me again back with another review, this time for some accessories that I have from a store called LemonyLemon~

LemonyLemon is a store based in Australia that focuses on selling decorative nails and kawaii accessories! They are also very affordable, which is a plus because you don't want to be spending too much money on accessories ^.^ Seriously, some stuff I see in other stores are wayyyyy over priced and I feel very ripped off just by looking at the price tag -_-' Fwhuuu~

The items took 7 days to arrive at my house because I am in the same country as the store, so I assume that if you were to order and you are outside Australia, then it may take 2-3 weeks.

When they arrived and I undid the basic packaging, it looked like this~

They were very securely wrapped up and the items themselves were wrapped in bubble packaging to stop them from breaking during their travels. The packaging is simple and very easy to open, which I found was very good.

First, was the necklace, which seems to be out of stock now but you can find more HERE

You can see from the picture that the necklace is a cute little bunny rabbit wearing a bow with a beaded chain ~ All the colours are really bright and pastel which means this necklace is suitable for any kawaii fashion such as Lolita ^_^

It's made from hard plastic and the bow and chain are glued onto the rabbit. The invisible glue seems to be very tough and it looks unlikely to break any time soon! I really like this necklace and I intend to wear it a lot!

This necklace was $12AUD to buy and definitely worth the money.

Next are the two rings that I received:
The rings are brightly coloured and large on my fingers, so they stand out! (But they aren't too distracting).
You can purchase rings from LemonyLemon HERE for under $5.00AUD.

The rings are made entirely from hard plastic (bar the band which is painted metal) and, as you can see in the third image, flexible to suit most fingers. Mine fit nicely on my first three fingers but are a little loose on my small, pinky finger :3

These rings are held together by glue which is invisible and very tough. Again, I think it would take quite a lot to break the rings as they seems pretty durable~

Here are some images of my wearing the items :3

As you can see, the items are super sweet and appropriate for photo shoots :3 I don't yet have a discount code for the items but as you probably realized it isn't really necessary when everything is super cheap xD I mean, the rings are under $5 and the necklace is $12 :3 The value for money is amazing hehehe

I will definitely be wearing these again in the future so stick around to see more.

Don't forget to check out my social media where I spend most of my time: Instagram, Facebook, Youtube

Special thanks to LemonyLemon for sponsoring me these items to review!

Until next time, byebye!

PinkyParadise Vassen Dolly Plus Red Review

Hi guys, it's AquilasKiss again with another review :)
This time I will be reviewing a pair of circle lenses from Pinky Paradise called Vassen Dolly Plus Red.
They arrived earlier on this week after about 2-3 weeks of shipping them, so the average time with cheaper shipping. When they arrived and I had opened them, they looked like this:
They came with the cutest pink Macaron case ever :3

Want a macaroon case with your order as well? use my coupon code 'AquilasKiss' when you order from Pinky Paradise  and you will get a cutie macaron case and mystery gift with every pair of lenses purchased :3

When I lifted them up in the bottle, they look like this!
This is what they look like in the Cutie Macaron case!

After leaving them to soak, I finally tried them on and voila~

If you want to see them in a much more realistic way, you can watch my video with them HERE :)

Diameter: 14.5/15mm
Water content: 42%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Life Span: 1 year disposable
They are available in a wide range of prescriptions

You can purchase the Vassen Dolly Plus Red from Pinky Paradise for $22.90 USD, which is a very reasonable price for these lenses. They are a new favourite of mine now hehehehe :)
~If you are going to purchase these lenses, don't forget to include my coupon code AQUILASKISS for a free cutie case and a mystery gift~

Comfort 9/10
I can barely feel them! The reason they are not a 10 is because their larger size can make them a little bit more difficult for beginners to insert :)

Enlarging 10/10
They are super large and cute and even though they are a harsh red colour, they still somehow manage to look absolutely adorable. Like a big, beautiful doll!

Colour: 8/10
They are super vibrant and rich. They are not as bright as the Vassen Cloud Nine Red lenses that I use for my Dave Strider cosplay, but they are certainly rich. They are also very rounded so some of your natural colour will show through the center which may or may not be a problem for people with a lighter eye colour.

Overall: 9/10
I really enjoyed wearing these lenses a lot more than I thought I would as they are red. I will be using them for my Gou from Free! cosplay and I am quite happy with them.

~ Please check me out on Instagram, Facebook, Tumblr and Youtube~
